European Land Systems is a leader in the design and manufacture of wheeled, tracked and amphibious vehicles, bridge systems and other combat systems for a global customer base. Our operations are based in Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
We design and manufacture armored and non-armored vehicles (from 8 tons to 33 tons) at our facilities in Switzerland and Austria. With more than 10,000 vehicles fielded worldwide, in operation for more than 30 years, we continuously improve our 6x6 and 8x8 family of vehicles. The tactical vehicle families Duro and Eagle complement the Piranha and Pandur family, offering a range of tactical and logistics vehicles in the 6-to 15-ton weight class.
Our Ascod vehicle is one of the best Infantry Fighting Vehicles of its class (31-42 ton), a tracked combat vehicle designed to operate in conjunction with main battle tanks. The Spanish version of the Ascod is the Pizarro, and the Austrian version is the Ulan and the English version is AJAX. The Ascod has served as the basis for the British development of the AJAX program, formerly known as the SV Program.
Amphibious Vehicles and Bridge Systems
We have been building interoperable amphibious vehicles and mobile military bridge equipment for 60 years and we continue to deliver a wide range of systems for all forces. Our floating and dry-gap bridge systems are currently in use in more than 20 countries.
Artillery & Ammunition
European Land Systems designs and manufactures a wide range of armaments and ammunition in facilities in Spain, with a tradition that goes back to the 16th century. We are currently producing the towed 155/52 SIAC howitzer, developed for fire support and protection missions with high performance, low maintenance cost and a reduced crew, which is in service internationally.
